Are you a Rainbow Warrior/Warriors of the Rainbow?

Welcome to learning about the Warriors of the Rainbow Prophecy,
The Rainbow Warrior prophecy predicts that in a time of severe environmental and spiritual crisis, a new tribe of people from all races, colors, and creeds will unite to heal the Earth and restore balance through peace and wisdom. These warriors are described as moving across the planet like a "Whirling Rainbow," bringing unity, harmony, and healing to end destruction and greed.
I first heard about the Warriors of the Rainbow prophecy from an Elder and Mentor Dave Courchene Jr. This is what he had to say:
“We now live in a time of the emergence of the ‘Warriors of the Rainbow.’”
He taught that during this time of great challenge and darkness, new people would emerge. These people would come from all walks of life, and they would carry a deep concern for:
what is happening to humanity
what is happening to the environment
what is happening to our home we call planet Earth
These new people, especially the youth, need encouragement and support to bring forward the special gifts they have been given.”
Many believe it is just a Hopi Prophecy but I give you the same prophecy with the Cree
“There will come a time, when the keepers of the legend, stories, culture and all the Ancient Tribal customs would be needed to restore us to health, making the earth green again. They would be mankind’s key to survival, they are the ‘Warriors of the Rainbow.’”

My path with this prophecy begins long before I had the language for it. In 1995, I began attending ceremony and learning from my mentor, an Anishnabe Elder Dave Courchene Jr. from Manitoba. My first blog, Sacred Connections – Connecting back to Mother Earth and all our Relations, was born out of love for his teachings and the wisdom of the land.
In 2008, I brought Dave to North Vancouver B.C. where I was living at the time for an 8th Fire ceremony on the land of the late Chief Dan George. I along with the others in attendance learned about two prophecies, The Anishnabe 8th Fire, and the Warriors of the Rainbow prophecy. It would be a few more years before I truly understood that this was a call I was being given to carry. My original blog post to learn about the prophecies.
In 2012, after living with the teachings and the questions for some time, I received a clearer sense of that call. I wrote about it then on my blog in a post titled:
“Are you a Rainbow Warrior or Walker?”
Dave is in the Spirit World now. He was a true Warrior of the Rainbow, leading the way with the creation of Turtle Lodge, a place of gathering and ceremony for all races.
This Substack will be a place where I gather and share those earlier blog posts, stories, and experiences — and where I continue to walk and listen for what it means, now, to be a Warrior of the Rainbow.
Rainbow Warrior I realized in our modern times could be described as;
Lightworker, healer, starseed, indigo, crystal childern, empath, Lightwarrior, grid worker, spiritual warrior, angel or elemental communicator, animal communicator + more.
